GENERAL INFORMATION
ZIP files for all OsoSoft programs are available in the
OSOSOFT\ZIPS directory on this CD-ROM. All files are
compressed with PKZIP 1.10 and may be decompressed with
any version of PKZIP, including all 2.x versions.
Program information for major OsoSoft programs can be
found in PROGINFO.TXT and PROGINFO.WRI.
If you distribute any of these OsoSoft shareware or
freeware programs, you MUST read VENDOR.DOC and comply
with the distribution requirements contained in that
file.
Information for magazine or other reviewers is in
REVIEWER.DOC.
WINDOWS INFORMATION
Most of the OsoSoft programs included on this CD-ROM
disk run under Windows 3.1, and were written in
Microsoft Visual Basic 2.0, and require VBRUN200.DLL to
be installed in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. You can find
that file in the OSOSOFT\RUNTIME directory on this CD-ROM.
Many also require additional support files. Those files,
listed below, should be copied into your WINDOWS\SYSTEM
directory before running any of these programs.
The files required for each program, other than VBRUN200.DLL,
are included in the ZIP file for that program. However, all
necessary files are also available in the OSOSOFT\RUNTIME
directory on this CD-ROM, and may be copied directly to your
WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

INSTALLATION OF OSOSOFT PROGRAMS
After copying all the files in the OSOSOFT\RUNTIME directory
into your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory, I suggest that you create
a directory called OSOSOFT on your hard disk, then copy or
unZIP the files for each program into that directory. Since
several of the Windows programs share identical font list data
files, this will speed up operations. Then, follow the
instructions in the WRI files for each program to install the
programs into your program manager. DOS programs have their
own installation requirements, explained in the appropriate,
self-browsing COM files.
Thank you for your interest in OsoSoft programs.
